One of our primary goals is to use Testosterone replacement to help us preserve and increase muscle mass as we age.
To a very large degree, the amount of muscle mass we have determines the quality of our health. It helps to protect us from insulin resistance which causes progressive weight gain and high inflammation levels within our body.
Resistance training (weight lifting) is the key, not hours on the treadmill. Muscle burns calories 24/7……..muscle increases our BMR (basal metabolic rate)…….it basically makes our furnace burn hotter…….which helps us burn off excess calories.
A man will lose 30% of his muscle mass between 50 and 70 years of age without taking measures to prevent that. That muscle mass loss is a direct threat to a man’s health………maintaining a healthy Testosterone level coupled with resistance training 3-4 days per week for 1 hour can both preserve and increase muscle mass which will definitely keep us healthier as we age.
Our members have access to our state of the art body composition analysis machine which tracts muscle and fat composition and help track your progress.
