One of the main drivers of aging is inflammation. As a general rule, inflammation increases as the years go by inflammation that leads to disease, cancer, and a lower quality of life.
Probably the most inflammatory substance that any of us consume is sugar…….and the worst of the worst is high fructose corn syrup. A diet high in sugar leads to insulin resistance, progressive weight gain, and inflammation throughout the body.
The first step is to cut out sugary drinks of all kinds: sodas (diet sodas are just as bad) fruit juices (they are packed with sugar), and sweet tea. Next is to cut down on bread…..most people do not understand that white bread is converted to sugar once it is eaten……same with Saltine crackers.
There are some supplements that help to reduce inflammation in the body. Here is a list of the ones I take:
Fish Oil, Tumeric, NMN, Resveratrol, and Berberine.
All supplements are definitely not created equal……the quality of some are vastly superior to others.
Keeping inflammation under control is critical to living a long and healthy life. Cut out the sugary drinks, cut down on the bread and crackers, drink at least 2 liters of water per day, and consider the supplements that I recommended.
